What Scientists Think of HGH?

Researchers have found that HGH therapy or Human Growth Hormone Therapy is something they can employ widely in the near future. One of the primary features of Human Growth Hormone or HGH is its ability to slow down the aging process. A number of researchers have come to the conclusion that the reduction in the secretion of HGH leads to the process of growing old. If we analyze this concept clearly we would understand that it in fact can be true.

When we are born we start the process of development. Inside our body there are numerous cells and tissues. At the centre of our head is the pituitary gland which secretes the growth hormone. The level of secretion decides what a baby would actually be when he or she grows up – a dwarf, a normal person or an abnormally tall human being.

Daily, inside our body a number of cells die. Do not be afraid as it a normal bodily function. In place of those dead cells numerous new cells are born to carry on with the functions of the dead cells. However, this process of cell generation starts lagging down when a person reaches a certain age. This age barrier however, depends on the body constituency of that specific person.

Between age 21 and 60 the level of HGH secretion drops by 80%. That is indeed a staggering percentage and clearly shows why the body gets old. After we cross the age of 30 we start to lose HGH secretion, leading us to aging. This is the time when hormone treatment comes to our rescue.
